The Keighley Bus Museum Trust was founded in 1991 by a group of public transport enthusiasts and obtained charitable status in 1997.
Some of the collection is owned by the Trust, some vehicles are on loan and others privately owned. The collection comprises: approx. 20 vehicles in running order and approx. 30 under or awaiting restoration.
With generous funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, a Prism grant from the Science Museum and a grant from Bradford Metropolitan District Council the Trust purchased a 'core' collection of nine vehicles from the closed 'Transperience' museum at Low Moor, Bradford.
These date from 1927 to 1968 and were formerly owned by the municipal transport undertakings of the old West Riding local authorities. All but one of these vehicles are in running order.

Are there any additional services? We have many years experience in providing wedding buses, and can often advise whether a particular location is accessible by bus. If necessary we will carry out a reconnaissance before accepting your booking.

How far in advance should I contact you? Most people book around twelve months in advance, but we can sometimes have last-minute availability -we will always help if we can. For the most popular dates in July and August earlier booking is advisable.
