Your arrival at Culzean Castle
Upon entering the country park, follow the long driveway as it winds through beautiful Scottish woodland, catching glimpses of the castle through the trees. As you walk through Robert Adam’s Roman-inspired ruined arch and across the viaduct, be prepared to be captivated as you catch your first full view of magnificent Culzean Castle.
Beyond the castle’s entrance hall lies the Armoury. Renowned for its world-famous collection of flintlock pistols and swords which adorn the walls, this impressive room is ideal for welcome drinks on arrival and celebratory drinks and canapés following the ceremony.

Within the castle, your ceremony can be held on the Oval Staircase, in the Round Drawing Room or, for small parties, in the Eisenhower Apartment
Oval Staircase
A Robert Adam masterpiece, the Oval Staircase lies at the heart of Culzean Castle. Famous for its soaring colonnades, grand oil paintings and dramatic red carpet, the Oval Staircase is flooded by light from the glass cupola high above.

Depending on the size of your wedding party and formality of the occasion, Culzean Castle offers you a variety of unique locations for dining.
State Dining Room
Decorated in the Adam Revival style by the 3rd Marquess of Ailsa, the elegant State Dining Room features ornate ceilings, Corinthian pillars and portraits of the Kennedy family who once lived at Culzean. One of Scotland’s oldest families, the Culzean Kennedys can trace their ancestry to Robert the Bruce.
The State Dining Room can comfortably seat up to 72 guests. The castle’s original oak dining table can also be used to seat more intimate parties of up to 36.
