Forrester Park

Set within its own grounds in rural Essex, the beautiful house at Forrester Park, parts of which date back to the 16th Century, has been lovingly converted in a welcoming, traditional Clubhouse and Function Rooms. A number of rooms are available for hire as well as a garden/patio area and exhibition site. There is ample car parking.

Weddings

No matter what kind of wedding day you have in mind, Forrester Park is happy to help you realize your dream. With many years' experience of weddings and receptions of all sizes and styles, from intimate gatherings to large parties, Forrester Park is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

The venue

The building is based around a 16th century Essex barn which was converted into a family home during the last century. It has since been sympathetically extended to keep the original character, with exposed oak beams, an open fire and traditional furnishings. The different parts of the building, together with the garden area, can be put to use in whatever way best suits you. Downstairs is the main clubroom area with bar, dance-floor and cloakrooms, while upstairs is the 120-seater Forresters Restaurant, with its own bar, toilets and dance-floor.

The food

Forrester Park prides itself on letting you make the choice - whether you want to be traditional or different is up to you. We are as happy to serve a traditional three-course English meal as we are to serve a curry buffet or 'Ritz-style' tea. And if the bride wants hamburgers and chips we do not forget it is her wedding. We are there to give her and her party excellent, efficient and friendly service.

Parties and functions

Forrester Park is happy to welcome you and your party. You may have in mind a dinner dance or a drinks party, a buffet or a barbecue - we have experience of them all. It is the ideal venue for birthdays, anniversaries and christenings, office parties, charity events and, of course, Christmas celebrations.
