The Coopers Arms in Weston on Trent, Derbyshire is an award winning pub, restaurant, conference centre and wedding venue. Situated next to our trout lake, The Coopers Arms is the perfect pub for real ales, fine wines, carvery food as well as a la carte dining. For your wedding or conference we are ideally situated close to the M1, M42 and A50.

Weddings

Your dedicated event co-ordinator Beth Nicholls, will advise and support you on all aspects of your Civil ceremony and reception, from first class catering to entertainment for parties of 10 – 250 guests. The Venue

The Coopers Arms is the perfect place to hold your wedding or wedding reception. This impressive 17th century mansion house offers a warm and unique venue. With our emphasis on quality and service you can be assured of a friendly and professional approach.

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests and can accommodate the same number for a Wedding Breakfast. In the evening we can cater for up to 170 guests for an evening buffet.

With superb views over the fishing lake and our well-maintained garden areas The Coopers Arms is an excellent location for your wedding photographs. We offer a wide selection of banqueting and buffet menus, alternatively we can tailor make one to suit your requirements.

The Restaurant

Our restaurant is known for its excellence not just throughout the local area, but across the country. Imagine mixing together the ambiance created by beautiful historic surroundings and the very finest food, and you will have some idea. We have a choice of menus, which include our renowned carvery, a la carte selection, lunchtime planner menu and a wide selection of rolls, sandwiches & panini's.

At the front of the property are two non-smoking conservatories. They overlook the lake and have extensive views of the open countryside. Our smaller conservatory can seat up to 40 people, and our larger conservatory, the Fairfax room, can seat 65. Both rooms provide an ideal setting for either business meetings or private parties. The other non-smoking area of the restaurant is the Charles 1 st room. This delightful room is perfect for a romantic meal, quiet conversation or family get-together. The room itself has a large old-fashioned bookcase which is beautifully complemented by a series of topical pictures.
