The venue

Dating back in parts to 1559, the Barceló Brighton Old Ship Hotel is the oldest hotel in Brighton and stands proud on the bustling seafront in this popular British destination. From its magnificent white façade to contemporary modern reception area, the hotel prides itself on excellent customer service in comfortable relaxed surroundings.All 152 en-suite bedrooms are elegantly designed with tasteful furniture both modern and traditional. Therestaurant is just a hop from the seafront and serves a fine selection of dishes, accompanied by an extensive choice of fine wines; we offer a wide selection to satisfy the most discerning palate. Car parking facilities are available for up to 40 cars on a first come, but there's plenty of additional space in the NCP secure parking next to the hotel.

Leisure facilities

Please note: we do not have leisure facilities within the hotel but there are number of gyms close by with day membership which we are happy to arrange (charged) Brighton has been surveyed as the healthiest city in UK! and as you would expect opportunities to exercise are plentiful, bike hire and skate hire is easy, take advatage of 7 miles of promenade. There are numerous operators for sea activities, canoeing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, for the real enthusiasts the Brighton Bathers swim 265 days a year (incl. Christmas Day!)
