Wedding Celebrations

Whether it is a simple celebration or a huge Marquee event, our General Manager Nick Kilmartin can offer helpful advice and down to the minute planning - from colours and confetti to menus and momentos.

Your wedding celebration should be the event of your life - from an evening Barbeque served in our landscaped grounds by our dedicated Chefs to fresh petal confetti and Bellini cocktails on arrival at the entrance to your own private marquee. At the Brackenborough, everyone has their own Special Day.

Naming Ceremony

A Naming Ceremony is a very special way of celebrating the birth of a child and welcoming the new arrival into the family and a wider social circle.

Some guests chose to hold a Naming Ceremony to celebrate the introduction of an older child into the family, to mark the day an adoptive child enters a family or to embrace stepchildren into a new family bond.

Commitment Ceremony

The Brackenborough is an ideal venue for a meaningful and dignified Commitment Ceremony for adult couples. It is a time to make a Public declaration of life-long commitment, love and dedication.

Shared with family and friends or held in intimate private without guests, the occasion and celebration is for you and your partner to chose how you wish to make it special.

Partnership Ceremony

Our Civil Partnership ceremony offers same sex couples the chance to declare their commitment to each other in a legally binding partnership.

With so many options, poems and readings, the day allows you to create a very personal ceremony for you to share and celebrate with family and friends or quietly together, in private.

Two Night Wedding Special

Indulge yourself with our 2 night stay over, exclusive to our wedding guests, Saturday and Sunday nights only. Check in from 2pm Saturday and stay till 11am Monday morning.

With no need to rush Sunday morning, enjoy a leisurely Breakfast in our conservatory. After breakfast why not take your coffee outside onto our patio area to relax further, perhaps a read of the Sunday paper.

Every one of our fabulous guest rooms has ensuite facilities. Each one has been individually designed with a rich, contemporary style, superior fittings and our own, exclusive Oak Ridge Hotel Egyptian cotton linen.

The Oak Ridge signature is to keep it simple, fresh and uncontrived whilst delivering our own unique blend of home comforts and hotel flamboyance. Each guest room comes complete with a remote control TV, private phone line, a heavenly set of bed linen and pillows three feet long.
