Weddings

Careys Manor Hotel is a four star captivating Victorian Manor House set in the heart of the idyllic New Forest, famous for its award winning cuisine, relaxed romantic atmosphere and elegant surroundings we turn your wedding dreams into a reality.

At Careys Manor we host only one wedding a day so you are guaranteed a personal service throughout. We hold a license for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships. We offer our elegant Cedar Suite as well as our lounge area plus a selection of wedding packages. All weddings are individual whether you dream of a small intimate ceremony with close friends and family or a large lavish occasion. Our aim is to make your day truly yours.

Suites

Manor Suite: The Manor suite is elegant, sophisticated and airy. With French windows which open onto the private, south facing, courtyard garden, the attention to detail, candle sconces, golden curtains and seating for 100 guests make this the ultimate country wedding room.

Cedar Suite: The Cedar suite seats upto 80 guests and benefits from its own private entrance and the large ornate windows give the room a naturally bright feel and inviting ambience, with French doors opening onto the private terrace area this suite makes the perfect wedding and function room.

Catering

Our talented chefs have created mouthwatering menus using only the best locally sourced produce. All the menus are flexible and your specific requirements can be catered for.

Create your own package from our selection or alternatively consider our Gold or Platinum Celebration packages. We can accommodate up to 150 people for your evening reception and are happy to cater for just 80% of guests attending. The hotel must provide all catering but you are welcome to provide your own wine. Our normal corkage fee will apply.

Music

Music may be allowed in the Ceremony Room, at the discretion of the hotel, and with the consent of the Superintendent Registrar. It is the responsibility of the couple to provide a suitable music system and it is a legal requirement that any music played must be secular. Alternatively, the Hotel would be pleased to help arrange live music, such as a string quartet or harpist.

Flowers

The couple may provide flowers for the Ceremony Room if required. We would be pleased to help arrange this for you.

Accommodation

Our newly refurbished luxuriously appointed bedrooms offer something for everyone, choose from either traditional charm with classic period features or if you prefer go for a more sophisticated contemporary elegance even enjoy your own private terrace perfect for watching the sun go down over the forest. If you prefer a traditional feel we recommend The Old Manor House, offering unique double or four poster rooms, perfect for setting a romantic scene. If however contemporary is more to your taste then opt for one of our Knightwood or newly refurbished Oakwood Garden Rooms.
