Etrop Grange Hotel

Located just 2 minutes from Manchester Airport sits the beautifully restored, Grade II listed building Etrop Grange Hotel. Originally known as Moss House, the hotel was renamed Etrop Grange in 1984 by the owners after a local area called Etrop Green. Etrop Grange first opened for business in November 1985 as a fine dining restaurant on just the lower level and was slowly converted into a hotel over the next 13 years with a £3 million refurbishment.

Now in it’s 26th year as a hotel Etrop Grange has built up a reputation of being one of the best wedding venues in Manchester. Providing you with the perfect setting for you day, Etrop Grange can cater for large parties of up to 200 as well as smaller, more intimate weddings, civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. Our wedding coordinator will work with you to ensure that your day is as perfect as you imagined it. Our Courtyard also provides the ideal setting for your wedding photographs as the Georgian architecture looks stunning in any photograph, and can also be used for your pre or post wedding drinks reception.

Outstanding food and first-class service has always been at the heart of Etrop Grange and your wedding breakfast will offer this and more by delivering exquisite food prepared with signature Michelin precision. Our Chef has created a selection of exquisite menus taking inspiration from his training at Noma and the Fat Duck. These menus combine simple ingredients with modern techniques to create visually stunning and delicious food for your pleasure.

As the day winds down, the bride and groom can slip into a fluffy robe and relax on the four-poster bed in our fantastic bridal suite. Sip champagne, sit back and reflect on your magical day before jetting off on honeymoon. Your guests will be able to join you for breakfast the following morning as we offer 64 bedrooms all decorated in a classic Georgian style at a special wedding guest rate.
