Weddings

We love to help you celebrate a special occasion, whether it is an anniversary treat or providing you with a wedding day to remember forever. We can accommodate up to 90 people for a sit down meal, over 100 people for a buffet or function, and are happy to cater for any kind of occasion.

Group bookings

Our 10 bedrooms can be block booked for a family get-together, friends’ reunion or golf weekend. Ask about our special rates for group bookings and help us tailor a stay for your group which will be unforgettable.

Food at the Fernhill Hotel

We buy Local and Seasonal first, Organic second and Fair-trade wherever possible to ensure that your food is as fresh and un-travelled as it can be – both for quality and to minimise our impact on the environment. Each supplier we work with prioritises traditional methods and quality products. Because we know our local suppliers well, we can be confident of the end result we serve to you.

Feel totally at peace

Every room at Fernhill is different – decorated to suit its individual characteristics. As a small country hotel in a building which dates back to c.1850 the rooms are up stairs (and also sometimes up stairs & then down stairs!) depending on which room you choose. Please talk to us about any special needs you have so that we help you select the best room for you.

Business Functions and Conferences

We are open to non-residents for breakfast meetings, business lunches and dinners. Our location just off the A35 makes us convenient for meetings and business events, with a large car park and rooms available to accommodate private meetings or group lectures.
