Hart’s Hotel was built in 2002 to an award winning design by architect Julian Marsh on the former ramparts of Nottingham’s medieval castle.

With a full wedding licence for civil ceremonies we can accommodate up to 100 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 110 for the evening reception.

The Ceremony

We have excellent connections in Nottingham and around the country and we can arrange almost anything for your special event. We are proud of the reputation we have built over the years and we only ever use suppliers in whom we have 100% confidence.

We are delighted to advise you that Marriage & Civil Partnership Ceremonies in the presence of a Registrar may take place in Hart’s Upstairs.

The Reception

It takes more than luck and artistry to create the right experience. At Hart’s we work endlessly to perfect our services and of course that little touch of magic helps.

After seven years successfully hosting Weddings, Hart’s Upstairs closed for 1 month in January 2008 for a complete make over.
In our new configuration we can seat a maximum of 100 for a civil ceremony or a wedding breakfast and we can accommodate as many as 110 for the evening reception. The room can be organized so that a small wedding of 20 still feels at home.

When the party is over and it is time to kick off your dancing shoes, look no further than Hart’s Hotel to rest your weary head! A stunning and peaceful hotel with fantastic views, resident’s car park and beautiful garden.

Restaurant

Hart’s is a busy 80 seater restaurant which has for some eleven years claimed the title of Nottingham’s most succesful up-market eatery. Hart’s aims to provide a thoroughly professional blend of skilled service and modern British cooking in a stylish and comfortable interior. General manager, Sally Martin, leads the front of house team.
