The picturesque setting of this charming Jacobean country mansion within its own four acres of beautifully kept walled gardens makes it an ideal place to enjoy and celebrate your wedding. Whether you require a small intimate gathering or a large and lavish reception, Headlam Hall only hosts one wedding a day and can offer unrivalled quality, service and individuality.

Weddings in the Edwardian Suite

The Edwardian Suite enjoys a beautiful arched glass ceiling that allows natural light to flood the room and combined with the soft fresh décor and subtle foliage murals this gives a feeling of a delightful English garden.

The room can comfortably seat up to one hundred and twenty for a wedding breakfast and up to one hundred and forty for an evening party.

There is a high quality in-built sound and light system and we provide a resident DJ included in the room hire.

The adjacent Stable Lounge and Coach House Bar are available in conjunction with the Edwardian Suite and provide ideal spaces for reception drinks and also for those who may wish to escape the music for a quieter environment.

The Gallery is located above one end of the Edwardian Suite and is perfect for additional seating if required or for the serving of an evening buffet.

Weddings in the Drawing Room

The Drawing Room enjoys spectacular views from its row of Georgian windows over the terrace and main lawn of the garden. It is located in the Main Hall off the impressive lounge and can seat up to forty six guests for a wedding reception meal on separate tables or twenty four on one long table.

It is an ideal room for an intimate wedding celebration meal when a disco or dancing are not required (background music only in this room).

Accommodation

A complimentary deluxe four poster bedroom is available for the Bride and Groom on the night of the reception when attended by 40 guests or more. Up to a maximum of 14 bedrooms are offered to wedding reception guests at a 10% discount on the night of the event.
