Little Silver Country Hotel, licensed to hold the marriage ceremony, offers the perfect location for your wedding day with the opportunity for the exclusive use of the hotel and facilities.

Setting

Landscaped gardens that offer lovely settings for those treasured photographs, 16 excellent bedrooms including four posters and luxury bridal suites with Whirlpool baths, excellent cuisine and the magnificent Kent Hall ensure a perfect day.

The venue

Guests with mobility needs are facilitated for with bespoke bedrooms and with the wedding venue facilities all being located on the ground floor, allows easy access for elderly guests.

Unique in its octagonal shape, the magnificent Kent Hall emulates the Oast of Kent with stained glass windows, sparkling chandeliers and can accommodate up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast and up to 150 guests for the evening reception.

The Orangery, overlooking the picturesque pond and waterfall is the cheerful setting for smaller weddings for up to 30 guests. The beautiful garden gazebo allows the marriage ceremony to be held 'al fresco' on those warm summer days.

The oak-beamed lounge with roaring log fires on cold winter days is the warming setting for winter wedding photographs.

Personal attention is offered to help you plan and host your wedding and attention to detail throughout will ensure your special day is perfect in every way.

We have a number of function rooms that are able to accommodate your party, we offer excellent menu choices, a high level of expertise to help you organise your event and above all attention to detail is assured.

Accommodation

The 16 luxury bedrooms, some with Whirlpool baths, are stamped with their own individuality and all overlook the gardens. There are four-poster bedrooms, double and twin bedded, a charming family room and two suites. The Platinum Suite is a boutique style room, with a round bed and modern bathroom and has won accolades for its contemporary design and imaginative furnishing. The Silver Suite offers a traditionally furnished bedroom with a canopy bed and luxurious bathroom.

In common to all the bedrooms, though, is sheer comfort and amenities which include satellite television, direct dial telephone, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities.

The Little Silver Country Hotel can offer our mobility impaired guests facilities which are second to none. Designed to provide a high level of comfort with 8 channel television, large bathrooms with wet rooms and low baths, fittings for hoists and emergency buttons for extra security and well being. Rooms overlook the landscaped gardens Many of the facilities are on the ground floor with easy access for our wheel chair users.

Oaks Restaurant

Oaks, Tenterden's foremost restaurant overlooking the beautiful gardens and rockery offers a great menu in a comfortable modern dining room, with friendly and efficient service. The emphasis is on traditional ingredients and preparations but with plenty of surprises to keep our menu's exciting. The wine list is exquisite and offers a selection of new world wines as well as wines from local vineyards.
