Situated on the outskirts of the village of Alsager, on the Cheshire / Staffordshire border, the hotel was originally a farmhouse and parts of the building date back to the 17th century. The hotel has retained much of the original character, has been tastefully extended and is now able to offer all the modern facilities within a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Our knowledgeable and professional staff are here to help you and to ensure your most special day is truly one to remember.

Civil Ceremonies / Civil Partnerships

The Hotel is licensed to carry out Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships and a number of rooms are available to choose from. Arrangements for the ceremony itself will need to be made direct with the Macclesfield Registrars office and an introduction can be made through us. Please note, however, that any charges associated with the Registrar's office should be settled direct and will be in addition to our own.

Accommodation

At our hotel in Alsager, Stoke, each of the 57 bedrooms has been tastefully decorated. Our rural location is peaceful and tranquil, yet only a 5 minute drive from junction 16 of the M6.

We have two executive rooms with Jacuzzi bath and one bridal suite with 4-poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. Two rooms have been specially equipped to accommodate disabled guests and 4 rooms are designed to accommodate a family of 4 people.

Dining

The award winning Ostler Restaurant is as popular as ever. Chef Ian Turner and his team continue to produce dishes of high quality for diners wishing to celebrate or those who just enjoy a great meal in historical surroundings and offering value for money. A popular destination for special occasions, romantic dining and Sunday lunch in particular, Ian and his brigade produce menus using fresh produce, predominantly from local suppliers to ensure wholesome and appetising dishes are created.
