Where do I start? Team Sedgebrook were amazing from the start to the bitter end, which is why they were mentioned a few times in my bridal speech. I couldn’t have gotten through it without Becca who was our wedding co-ordinator. She had an answer no matter how common or obscure my question, would always ring or email me no matter a working day or not, so genuinely happy, positive, bubbly and supportive - it wouldn’t have been the unbelievable day it was without her. Helen was our toast master and she was brilliant too, had everything running on time, everyone knowing their stations, hosted brilliantly our mr and mrs game, gave me and my dad an amazing father and daughter song to dance too and gave me the ideal way to wee in the hardest wedding dress we ever did see!! The bar staff were fantastic and the reception team chap especially (sorry Didn’t get your name!) I only thought as clearing away just after midnight the staff then were quite ‘off’ and not communicative or smiley but to be honest, who would be working at 12:10am - weddings are long days but unfortunately for me, it flew by! The only other very little imperfection, one of my guests saw a good few bottles of undrunk beer being taken away at the end of the night as wasn’t drunk but we’d pay for for reception guests, as the Prosecco was the same price as the beers when we paid, someone could have noticed and asked if we wanted to swap them so the reception had more of the drinks they were supposed to, the Prosecco went down like wild fire!!
I cannot believe the weather in November, we were lucky enough to have cloud with a snippet of sunshine and wasn’t even cold enough for coats, which allowed us to have amazing pictures and our amazing confetti throw of which I cannot wait to see once developed! The grounds of Sedgebrook are out of this world, each room we stayed/went in were immaculate and all guests who stayed were very happy, the breakfast in the morning was great value for money and could taste the quality and couldn’t get a wider selection. Along with this I must say the evening buffet was beautiful and have had so many guests say so, tasty, good selection and right amount per person. I must also mention the bar/drinks area, what a perfectly sized, smart, shiny, snazzy area to mingle with loved ones.
I honestly had the most special day of my life and in large parts have Sedgebrook to thank. Beautiful hard working team, beautiful inside the venue and out. Would recommend in a heartbeat over and over again.

The perfect wedding venue! Everything about our day was amazing, and Helen and her team looked after us all so well. The room looked stunning, and we had the most fantastic day. Our guests enjoyed it so much and commented on how amazing and organised all the staff were. We cannot thank you enough for making our day so special!

Where do I start? It was everything and more. It was the best decision we made to have our reception held there.
Bianca, Helen and the team were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too big or small for them. Helen was absolutely amazing she was their with us the whole day and made sure it was the best day of our lives. It wouldn't have been the same without them.
We had our food tasting before and the food on our day was just as tasty. Everybody complimented how lovely the room and bar area was and how it catered for everyone old and young.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite, again it finished our day perfectly and was just beautiful.
Dedication and attention to detail was outstanding.
I really could go on but no words can describe just how amazing our special day was. The team and especially Helen were absolutely amazing, they just couldn't have done enough for us.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Sedgebrook Hall in September 2016.

It was the most amazing day and the team who helped us plan the wedding and host it on the day were very helpful, organised and enthusiastic.

It's a beautiful venue with the opportunity to have your ceremony outside in good weather. We love our photos taken around the grounds and our guests really enjoyed our reception in the large function room, and the food for our wedding breakfast.

The honeymoon suite is lovely too and there are plenty of rooms for guests. We would definitely recommend it as a wedding venue.

Sedgebrook Hall is a wonderful venue for a wedding. Brilliant staff make sure the day is perfect!

My new husband(!!) and I recently got married at Sedgebrook Hall and all I can say is 'WOW'!! The hotel itself is fantastic, plenty of nice accommodation, lovely grounds, great location and amazing staff! We liked Sedgebrook as we didn't have to leave the venue and could have our whole day there. Bianca who we dealt with regarding all the details of the wedding was so fantastic, she had so much time for me and is just genuinely nice and very easy to talk to. She had no problems with us popping over to the hotel or was so patient waiting for me to get information to them! On the day Helen was our co-ordinator and again she was fabulous!! She made the day run so smoothly, and again was lovely to work with and be around! I really can't say enough about how brilliant the hotel and staff were, they made it the best day for us :) Thank you!!

I'm almost at a loss of the superlatives I could use to describe the staff and quality of Sedgebrook Hall. My wife and I (hehe!) got married here on the 29th July. In the build up to our special day, Bianca was just superb. From our initial first meeting with her, we felt "at home" and completely comfortable at the hotel. And it's largely down to the staff. Everyone we encountered, in every interaction (at every level - from management, to room service staff) were superb. On the day itself, Helen was simply incredible. We had several personal issues with some of our family and guests during our stay and Helen remained calm, collected and dealt with these issues helpfully, carefully and with the utmost of understanding and care. Our day ran without a hitch and we had an absolute blast. The atmosphere, professionalism and sheer expertise of the staff here make this place just incredible. We are absolutely bowled over and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sedgebrook Hall to anyone. Thank you, so so much. Our day quite simply wouldn't have been the same without your caring professionalism.

We got married at Sedgebrook Hall in the beautiful outside pagoda.

Bianca and Helen helped us plan all the details of our day and made sure everything ran to time. The food was excellent and all of the staff were lovely.

The only minor criticism is that we felt the bathrooms needed updating, but this did not affect our magical day and we would highly recommend Sedgebrook Hall as a wedding venue!

Gemma provided excellent assistance over the 18 months we took planning our day. I would, however, like to raise awareness of special praise for Helen King.

When we attended the venue for our menu tasting, us and my parents were bowled over with Helen’s energy and enthusiasm so specifically requested for her to be a part of our wedding day. What a major part she played!

Helen was absolutely fantastic. I can 100% guarantee our special day would not have been any where near as special without Helen at the helm. She was so friendly, so calming and incredibly patient with us and all of our guests!

Every single person we spoke to mentioned how well Helen performed, how great she was at making the day run smoothly. I cannot speak highly enough of her, and how much she helped us on the day.

My 92 year old Grandma was treated especially well, with Helen assisting her throughout the day –walking her to the bathroom, and giving her someone to lean on whilst she was walking. Helen genuinely acted as if it were her own wedding day, and I am 100% confident that without her excellent hosting and people skills, our wedding would have been no-where near as memorable, stress or trouble free!

We had one guest who suffers from autism, and Helen made him feel so welcome and safe, his parents specifically said how well Helen looked after him, making sure he was comfortable throughout the day.

I would like to thank Helen for all of her help, and for taking the time to understand my husband and I, and for being so genuine, welcoming and thoughtful she was all day.

Overall I would recommend such a wonderful venue!

We held our wedding here and we were happy with the level of support we were given throughout the planning and of course on the day the whole events team were friendly and Helen and Bianca were a complete pleasure to be with.

Every member of staff we met was kind and helpful to our needs and that of our guests. The food was lovely and the steak cooked very well.

The pool area was good with a sauna as well and having children they accommodated this well with various splash times intended for family use.

The room was good and had all that we needed and the honeymoon suite was delightful with modern facilities. Overall we were impressed from start to finish and would recommend this hotel to others for weddings or just a romantic stay.
