Shrigley Hall estate dates back over five centuries and was originally home to the Downes family until it was sold to William Turner, high sheriff of Cheshire in 1821. Mr Turner commissioned Thomas Emmet to design the Hall, which was completed in 1925. Since then the house has been painstakingly restored and sympathetically developed into a country house hotel, retaining its character, elegance and grandeur.

The Grounds

The Hall is set in 262 acres of beautiful countryside with a sweeping driveway leading to the Hall, Shrigley has its own 18 hole champion Golf course & picturesque lake with views over the Cheshire Plains. The grounds are perfect for beautiful wedding photographs to make lasting memories.

Shrigley Hall Hotel is a striking 19th century mansion, with the main house echoing late Georgian period charm, that has been sympathetically extended offering modern facilities incorporating bedrooms and large function suites. Shrigley Hall Hotel has a great deal of character and elegance, evident from the moment you sweep up the long driveway and make your way to the main entrance which features the original staircase & ornate dome ceiling.
