Statham Lodges' beautifully landscaped gardens, surrounded by country fields yet with excellent network links remains a testament to careful and loving ownership. Still the focal point for excellent food and hospitality it continues to enjoy an enviable reputation.

Sympathetically restored and extended by its present owners, Statham Lodge today combines the elegance of the eighteenth century with the convenience of the twenty first.

Wedding receptions

There are two venues available to you at Statham Lodge Hotel, both beautifully furnished and both with natural daylight and fully air conditioned.

The Gainsborough Suite is our largest banqueting room, it can accommodate up to 180 guests, has a private bar and offers continuous use through into your evening event. Maximum numbers for the evening are 250.

The Shelley is our main restaurant and is also available for weddings, ideal for civil ceremonies and small receptions. Formally the drawing room of the original Manor House, it looks out onto the Carriage Drive and The Rose Garden and is decorated in traditional style. Comfortably accommodates up to 45 guests.

Disabled access to both rooms is available.

Statham Lodge has a licence to host Civil Wedding Ceremonies in a choice of rooms, and now our beautiful Garden Terrace Gazebo for the perfect outdoor wedding experience

There are several details regarding the day that we are more than happy to take care of on your behalf

• Cake knife and cake stand: often an extra expense we offer free use of our own
• Additional items for hire: candelabras (floor standing and table), Lilly Vases and Ceiling Drapes with fairy lights
• Photographers, bands and entertainers: call us any time for a list of those elusive entertainers and professionals
• Honeymoon suite: a choice of rooms is offered free of charge on the evening of the Wedding
• Guest rooms: we can offer 37 fully refurbished ensuite rooms for your overnight wedding guests.

• Dietary requirements: with at least 48 hours notice we can accommodate most special dietary & allergy requirements
• Facilities for up to 150 cars with CCTV in operation
