Stuart House Hotel

Stuart House is an independently owned and operated hotel, bar and restaurant, hidden in the centre of the small medieval market town and historic port of King's Lynn. The original building dates back to Victorian times when it was the private residence of a prominent King's Lynn Businessman.

Stuart House really is an Oasis quietly situated in its own grounds just a few minutes walk from the river and centre of King’s Lynn, through ‘The Walks’, an extensive and attractive park and is equally ideal for both business and leisure.

Stuart House has been approved for Civil Marriage ceremonies and can accommodate small and medium sized weddings up to 50 people.

Help planning

A wedding breakfast and reception requires a great deal of thought, care and hard work. You can depend on our professional, friendly team to ensure the day runs smoothly. We will help you with your choice of menus, wines, eating arrangements, floral decorations, wedding cake, photographer, entertainment and any special requirements you have in mind.

Our restaurant can accommodate fifty people for a ‘sit down’ meal or sixty for a buffet. Our professional catering team boasts many years of experience and pride themselves on their personal attention and service.

For your evening function, we can arrange entertainment in the form of a disco or small group.

The restaurant, bar and adjoining meeting room can accommodate up to eighty people and has a small dance floor.

Room discounts are available for family and guests who would like to stay. Outside bars and catering can also be provided.

Accommodation

The individually designed bedrooms have been furnished to make every guest's stay pleasant and comfortable.

There are 18 bedrooms in all, ranging from single rooms, standard and superior doubles, larger executive rooms and a four poster. All rooms have the modern facilities expected:

Restaurant

The Stuart Restaurant offers a varied international menu complimented by daily specials. Prepared whenever possible, from fresh, seasonal, local produce. Ingredients are sourced locally from the local butcher, grocer and fresh fish merchant.

The overall atmosphere is genuinely friendly and relaxed throughout. The emphasis is on quality and value. Gourmet dinners theme evenings and events take place on a regular basis.
