Ceremony & Reception

These days, many couples choose to have their wedding ceremony here, as well as their reception.

Outdoors

We can comfortably accommodate your wedding ceremony in our garden - complete with gazebo (for shade) and pergola (perfect for your photographs). If you choose to get married elsewhere, we can simply host your drinks reception outdoors. It's your choice.

Indoors

Just in case the sun doesn't shine, we have a wide selection of rooms for you to choose from. From a large family wedding to a more intimate day, there's sure to be a space that's just perfect for you and your guests.

Room to celebrate

Spacious grounds. A riverbank setting. Views to rural Renfrewshire and the hills beyond. The Beardmore offers you all the space you need to enjoy your special day.

Even our car park is spacious, with parking for up to 300 vehicles. Our wide entrance and reception area continue the sense of scale, as do our banqueting and dining areas.

The Waterhouse

Flooded with natural light from the south and west, The Waterhouse is a bright, expansive room with doors opening onto a patio where the gardens lead to the River Clyde. The impressive Waterhouse lends itself to a traditional reception and meal, followed later by an evening reception and buffet with dancing.

Other rooms

We also have a selection of delightful smaller rooms that are perfectly suited to a more intimate wedding reception.

Our waterside health club with gym and swimming pool is available free to guests and is open for membership.
