The Old Court Hotel

Jono & Victoria bought the Old Court in May 2006. Previous to this they have between them 22 years experience in the hospitality indUstry. Jono leading a national company of 30 bars & restaurants and Victoria heading up a region of 20 pubs and hotels. Fed up with the "Rat Race" they fell in love with the Wye Valley and The Old Court.

The property boasts 2 bars, a large function room, lounge, patio, conservatory, swimming pool and extensive gardens.

The hotel can accomodate 36 people and has many period rooms including 3 Four Poster bedrooms.

Built around 1570, it passed through the hands of various members of the same family for the next 200 years. Its previous owners have included Thomas Gwillim who was ADC to General Wolfe at the battle of Quebec, and John Graves Simcoe who was the first Governor General of Upper Canada and founder of the City of Toronto.
