Cambridge’s most exclusive Wedding venue. Licensed for Civil Wedding ceremonies. The Grand Ball Room accommodates up to 100 dining guests, with up to a further 500 dining guests seated in a lavishly furnished Marquee. Exquisite catering is offered to suit your taste.

Your Wedding Reception

Anstey Hall has a large and beautifully elegant Grand Ball Room that can be used for wedding receptions, banquettes and party celebrations. The stately Reception Hall is the perfect place to greet your guests upon their arrival. There is also a large panelled library room and a conference room that can be used as a retreat from the main reception areas or as special function rooms.

The gardens can be used throughout the day and evening, providing a safe area for children to play and a quiet place for adults to take a relaxing stroll or enjoy the cool evening air.

As the evening progresses you might like to put on entertainment for your guests: Discos and live bands can be set up in any of the reception rooms or outside on the lawn, and there is a grand piano in the library for those who are musically inclined.

Ceremony

Anstey Hall is a beautifully presented Victorian mansion house set in 10 acres of well maintained gardens, making it an ideal venue for weddings and receptions.

We are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, so couples can hold their wedding in beautifully lavish surroundings. Couples wishing for a traditional church wedding might like to consider the picturesque church of Saints Mary & Michael, which is conveniently located next to Anstey Hall.

We can offer the most exquisite catering for your wedding meal!

Have your food meticulously prepared by one of the most talented and well-regarded head-chefs in the area, with an individually created menu to suit your taste. Dinner can be silver-service or an informal buffet, to suit your choice. We also offer a selection of fine wines and Champagne at competitive prices.

The Saloon Bar

Once your after-dinner speeches have drawn to a close, why not wander downstairs to socialise in our fully licensed saloon bar. A former drawing room that looks out over the rear lawn, with oak panelling that has been beautifully restored.

We have a number of beautifully presented bedrooms, each with their own unique character: From antique wood panelling that has been painstakingly restored with decor to suit a traditional English taste, to splendid Victorian elegance with just a hint of modern style. Each bedroom has its own luxurious and spacious en-suite bathroom.
