Weddings at Ardington House

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and receptions can range from a reception in the house to a full dinner and dance using marquees in the grounds.

The ceremony

You may wish to hold a Civil ceremony in Ardington House licensed for up to 80.

Alternatively you may like to hold your ceremony in the romantic setting of the Island Temple, on Ardington's lake. Numbers up to 200.

Following the Civil Ceremony guests can either remain for a reception in one of the main rooms, or use the marquee leading from the House and enjoy anything from drinks and canapés to a full sit down dinner dance.

The Reception

Drinks can be served on both the North and South manicured lawns, the island or lakeside.

For functions in the House alone, the main rooms can comfortably accommodate 150 standing guests. Seating capacity is 56 guests.

The House is surrounded by magnificent gardens and grounds, including a picturesque lake which in the evenings is floodlit along with the House.

The main rooms of the House can be used for reception drinks while the Bride and Groom pose for photographs around the grounds, and the marquee can be the setting for lunch, dinner and dancing as required.

The catering services at Ardington House are exceptional and maintained to the highest possible standard. We are able to serve a full banquet, three-course meal, informal buffet or simply canapes with the reception drinks.
