Ayscoughfee Hall

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum is set in a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451. This fascinating grade I listed building includes exhibitions, displays and educational opportunities for all to enjoy. It's three ground floor rooms are available for event or corporate hire when the Museum is closed to the public.

Weddings

Two of Ayscoughfee Hall's ground floor rooms have been licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, although numbers are strictly limited to 40 guests due to the nature of the Hall. If you are interested in having your ceremony in this unique location and using Ayscoughfee Gardens as the backdrop for your photographs.

We do not host receptions within the Hall, although we are able to serve drinks while photographs are taken in the Gardens.

Ayscoughfee Gardens

The formal gardens beautifully complement historic Ayscoughfee Hall, and feature a Yew Tree walk dating back to the 1720s. The Ornamental Lake is headed by a War Memorial designed by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, while hidden to the rear of the gardens is the Ice House which originally served the Hall's kitchens.

The Peace Garden offers a more contemporary theme, with the whole five acre site providing a perfect backdrop to your unforgettable day.
