Seeking that special Scottish Wedding venue in Scotland for the day – then look no further. Balinakill is a stately, B listed, Mansion House dating from the 1890s. The House is furnished with antiques and displays all the richness of the Victorian Age in its beautiful panelling, plasterwork, fireplaces and tiles This grand old house standing with quiet pride, cloaked in the peace and seclusion of some of Scotland’s finest Highland scenery, looks out between the hills to the Sound of Jura and Islay beyond.
Whether helping to arrange your wedding ceremony, or simply hosting your reception, we will handle everything with an experienced, friendly and professional approach. Add to this the beauty of Balinakill’s rooms and surroundings and you have the perfect setting for your very special romantic day.
There are 12double/twin en suite bedrooms ,a children's playroom with additional beds, a country kitchen, a victorian dining room, an oak panelled drawing room, an upstairs lounge with sky tv, an additional conservatory/dining room and a cosy bar with a wood burning stove. Most of the public rooms have open fires or wood burning stoves in addition to central heating.

Balinakill can be rented fully self-catering or alternatively, we offer a choice of 4 local caterers who can provide full or partial catering from our separate catering kitchen.
We are fully licensed and can provide a full bar service on request. However, for small house parties we offer guests the option to stock the bar and serve themselves, or hire one of our friendly bar staff to serve them - a popular choice with many guests!
