It has been the family home of the Clark family since it was purchased on behalf of the Plessey Company by Sir Allen Clark in 1946. Since that time it has been developed by successive generations of the family into a highly successful and diversified rural business which incorporates five main enterprises: weddings and events, property management, a 9 hole parkland golf course, one of the best partridge shoots in the UK and a productive arable farm.

Braxted Park offers exclusive use for the day and boasts the highest level of service for wedding receptions in Essex and the surrounding areas including Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Kent and London.

We cater for capacities of 50-300 guests throughout the year so whether you are considering a summer wedding or winter wedding Braxted Park is the perfect venue for all seasons. The venue is fully equipped with licensed bar facilities and includes staging and dance floor area which lends itself to discos or live music

Catering

The highest possible quality of food ensures that our high standards are consistently maintained. Flexible and varied menus are provided from our two carefully selected outside caterers, both of which are renowned for their exceptional standard and service.

Venue Only

Braxted Park is available for hire on a venue only basis. This option is particularly appropriate for those with specific cultural requirements such as Greek, Jewish, Asian and Caribbean weddings.

We provide the venue suitable for up to 350 guests for your exclusive use and include tables, chairs, a dance floor and stage. A ceremony room is made available together with changing facilities. Bar services are optional and catering is provided by your own preferred outside caterer who will supply food, cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen.

Accommodation

Braxted Park also has luxurious accommodation for the bridal party and guests to stay overnight. The bridal suite is a beautiful garden cottage in the tranquil grounds of the estate converted to the highest standard, with an additional 8 beautifully restored en-suite stable rooms available for your guests. Breakfast is served with the bride and groom the following morning
