Broyle Place is a Grade II Elizabethan manor house. It is a privately owned home offering a unique experience that feels as if you are sharing it exclusively with your family and friends. Here you can escape from the usual bustle of the outside world and wallow in the relaxed and informal atmosphere of a country house.

The wrought iron gates and sweeping driveway create a memorable entrance to the property bordered by ponds, sweeping lawns and ancient Oaks. Set in 30 acres of grounds and woodlands, Broyle Place enjoys a truly peaceful and private spot in the glorious Sussex countryside.

We are 40 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 20 minutes from the popular coastal city of Brighton. The historic town of Lewes is only 10 minutes away and the internationally renowned Glyndebourne Opera House is only five minutes away* There are many places to visit within a short drive including historic houses, gardens and castles. Plentiful accommodation is available nearby.

The venue

The Great Hall is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and can accommodate up to 50 wedding guests, Agallened staircase and red carpet signal the bride's entrance and the impressive inglenook fireplace, decked with candles, it is the romantic setting for the signing of the register. If you wish to be married outdoors the old oak gazebo holds up to 250 guests on are sweeping lawns.

Surroundings

Extensive lawns and wide terraces surround the house creating a beautiful setting for the champagne recepticn and to capture memories of your perfect day. Climbing roses and wisteria frame the front of tne nouse with its wide terraces and sweeping front lawns - a perfect backdrop for the marquee reception, Our marquees are selected from the best in the country to complement and enhance this glonous setting.

Catering

Our caterers will create a sumptuous menu exclusively for you. We can provide superb menus from a hog-roast barbecue buffet to a 5 course wedding breakfast - the choice is yours. Our professional and experienced staff are here to make sure that your day goes smoothly from the moment you arrive until the last guest departs.
