Steeped in history, Claydon House is a fascinating showcase of stunning craftsmanship. It boasts an elaborate mahogany staircase inlaid with box, ivory and ebony and the richly decorated Chinese Room.

When can civil wedding ceremonies be held at Claydon House?

Claydon House is available for a limited number of weddings each year which are held when the house is closed to the public. Ceremonies can be held from March to October on Thursdays or Fridays or before 12pm on Saturdays, or in November and December on any day.

We are unable to accommodate an evening reception inside Claydon House due to the delicate nature of the building however an evening reception can be held in the on-site restaurant (not NT) a short walk from the house.
