Gawsworth Hall makes an ideal venue for your civil marriage ceremony and reception, set amidst the tranquil and picturesque Cheshire village of Gawsworth.
Our Long Hall can accommodate up to 46 guests for the ceremony. Music replay facilities (CD or cassette) are included and a marquee in the grounds can accommodate up to 200 guests for your reception. We are happy to host weddings at any time of year apart from Bank Holidays and in July and August when the Open Air Theatre is running. However Gawsworth is principally a summer wedding venue when the guests can enjoy the lovely gardens.
Ceremony Only
When you book Gawsworth for your ceremony we guarantee you exclusive use of the Hall and grounds. We provide flowers in the marriage room and a tour of the Hall for your guests can be arranged whilst the photographs are being taken.
Photographs may be taken anywhere in the gardens and in certain rooms in the Hall if the weather is wet.
Reception Only
Gawsworth Hall provides a lovely backdrop for your reception.
We can assist you with your choice of marquee, and help with all the services you may require to make the reception special and individual to you!
Unlike other venues, we do not take commission on caterers etc, so you are free to use your own suppliers.
The facility fee includes the exclusive use of the gardens, electricity for lighting and a water supply. We will work with you, offering you help and guidance when you need it.
We can also recommend a number of local suppliers who specialise in weddings, including marquee hire, caterers, photographers, florists etc.
