Lydiard House

Lydiard House, an 18th Century Mansion House, is set in 260 acres of beautiful parkland situated on the outskirts of Swindon within easy reach of the M4 motorway. Within the mansion CCC operates Lydiard House Conference Centre, a dedicated residential conference centre focused on providing all that a conference organiser needs to succeed.

The benefits of a specialist environment become obvious as the singular focus of a dedicated conference centre provides an environment where everyone is in the business of doing business professionally.

Lydiard is organised for the whole of every business day. During residential conferences, because of the wonderful parkland outside and the leisure facilities on offer, guests have no need to disperse at the end of the day. Often business is discussed over a stroll around the grounds or in the bar. After a busy day an invigorating swim in our indoor swimming pool provides the perfect opportunity to unwind.

Weddings

Lydiard House sits proudly as a celebrated Grade 1 listed mansion in Swindon, Wiltshire. With 360 acres of parkland, ornamental lake, and a charming Walled Garden, you will find relaxing, natural surroundings in which to conduct your civil ceremony, as well as the perfect picturesque backdrop for stunning photographs of your special day. A Marquee is also available to accommodate a larger number of guests. The House itself has many recently restored historic features and tastefully decorated reception rooms to provide a grand setting for your wedding.

Lydiard House is licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 85 guests, conducted in the splendour of the House. For your Wedding Breakfast we can cater for 110 guests in the House and up to 250 guests in our Walled Garden Marquee, and for your evening reception, 150 guests in the house and up to 300 guests in the Walled Garden Marquee.
