Symondsbury Manor is a large Tudor house with a magical garden full of roses, lilies and tumbling vines, situated in an idyllic village of thatched cottages close to the sea in West Dorset.

We recognise your wedding day is the most important day of your lives. As well as providing the ideal romantic spot, we believe we can make your wedding extra special because we offer something different from most wedding venues.

Wedding Venue with Accommodation

Symondsbury Manor is yours for the weekend (or as long as you want) and there is stylish accommodation for up to 23 of your friends and family.

This means you can spend time with the people who mean most to you before your big day. Some of our wedding couples have held an informal family barbeque on Friday night, for example, as they meet relatives arriving from far afield, before celebrating in traditional style on Saturday, followed by a leisurely brunch on Sunday.

The style and budget of your wedding is entirely up to you. This is your special day which will reflect your unique vision. At Symondsbury Manor you are not obliged to use our caterers, our florists or even our marquee, as some wedding venues demand. You can tailor your wedding exactly as you wish. For example, some Symondsbury Manor weddings have been entirely made by family members contributing food, decoration and music; some have been vintage-themed; some have been deluxe with cocktail bars and Scottish pipers!
