Set in the heart of the Dukeries, Sherwood Forest was the home to our neighbour, Robin Hood. The Old Vicarage offers you exclusive access to a uniquely individual venue of style, Corporate meeting, Wedding Reception Venue, Special Events, Garden party Venuecharm and sophistication for that special occasion. Our flexible approach enables you to maximise the use of the facilities to meet your specific needs. Whether it is a lavish garden party in a marquee, your requirements will be met with the quality standards you would expect from an exclusive venue.

Food and refreshments to suit your Corporate meeting, Wedding Reception Venue, Special Events, Garden party Venue exact taste and budget can be provided by one of our catering partners, whether it is a formal wedding breakfast or or lavish garden party. To enhance your use of the venue our preferred marquee contractors can create for example a totally covered themed event or just a simple open sided gazebo.

For those who want to make the occasion even more special items such as ice sculptures can be arranged.

The winding tree lined road provides an excellent approach for the Bride and Groom by either Horse and Carriage or Limousine.

The house is set within 5 acres of wooded landscaped grounds through which the shallow river Poulter gently meanders between its banks. This beautiful setting is idyllic and romantic for bringing together, friends and family in an ambience of comfort, style and elegance.

A photographers paradise whatever the time of year, spring, summer, autumn or winter. Truly a perfect setting to enhance that special day.

The Osbourne Suite is licensed for civil marriages, with an anteroom being available for the convenience of the registrar, bride and groom.
