The Venue

Welcome to Thc Bickley, Restaurant, Wine bar, Celebration venue, offering high-quality food and drink served by people who have a pride and passion for their profession.

The Bickley is a distinctive Victorian building over four floors which has been redesigned and refurbished to provide a stylish, warm, relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere. We are situated in a leafy corner of Chislehurst a stone’s throw from central London yet with the greenery of Kent on our doorstep. Our Dining Room, Bar and gallery, Private Dining Room, Roof Terrace and Garden complete with a custom built marquee provide facilities for small dinner parties to corporate events, weddings and family celebrations.

The Private Dining Room

With glistening crystal chandeliers and glorious velvet dining ‘thrones’, the Private Dining Room offers the prospect to experience elite private dining or bespoke celebrator events. Be it a wedding breakfast or a drinks party the Private Dining Room will give you an exceptional atmosphere to entertain your guests.

The Dining Room

Designed in keeping with the renowned eloquent style that has become The Bickley, our dining room boasts a chic boutique ambiance framed with crystal chandeliers, Victorian antique mirrors and elegant period features.

With floor to ceiling glass doors that open directly on to our garden we can scamlcssly join a range of luxury marquees making this our largest exclusive use area The possibilities here arc endless’

The Bar

Relax in our comfy chesterfields, wind down at our stunning marble bar, share our fantastic charcutcrie boards & cheeses, drink fresh tea & coffee, get cosy by the fire with friends, enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, explore our hand-picked wine list, taste our food...

The Canopied Roof Terrace

Our roof terrace provides a perfect space for alfresco dining and entertaining. Surrounded by planters full of lavender and hops, and with views over the garden, it is just the place to enjoy a morning coffee, a late or lazy lunch, homemade ice cream and sorbets or a Champagne Afternoon Tea. Sit back, relax and watch the world go by.

By night the terrace benefits from outdoor heating and lighting extending the joy of alfresco dining well into the evening, and more importantly, beyond British Summertime!

The Walled Garden

The Garden boasts rustic seating set into floral, herb and vegetable planted bays, a lawn for your deckchairs, canopied roof terrace and a Garden Kitchen to enable us to go beyond barbccue. From just a beer or a jug of Pimms to your very own exclusive alfresco or marquee celebration we can accommodate. (And there is a Wendy House too!)

Food & Drink

At The Bickley we serve food all day across a range of menus created to be enjoyed subject to your mood, time and choice. Best of all you can choose to eat our food virtually anywhere in The Bickley, be that on the Roof Terrace, in the Restaurant, in the Gallery, the main bar, or even in the garden.
