The Living Room Oxford is a cool and contemporary piano bar and restaurant. Situated in the ancient Oxford Castle grounds we continue to uphold our reputation as Oxford’s most stylish venue.
Modern Wedding Venue Oxford
Whether you are looking to organise a formal wedding dinner or a relaxed Champagne and canapé reception The Living Room has a variety of exclusive areas with no hire fee. We can assign to you a dedicated wedding co-ordinator free of charge. Your wedding co-ordinator will assist you through menu selection, entertainment, and the planning of those finer details to ensure you have an extra special wedding day.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room has a private hire capacity of 170 guests for dining. A minimum spend is normally required to exclusively hire the whole restaurant.
The Piano Bar
The Piano Bar is a great space in which to host a welcoming drinks reception. To keep your guests going throughout the evening we can serve a finger buffet for up to 200 guests in this area. This space is also popularly used for contemporary cocktail and canapés receptions.
The white baby grand piano makes a style statement and is a lovely backdrop for some memorable wedding
photos. We are happy to arrange special pianist sets for your party if required, almost like you have your very own private recital!
The Roof Terrace
Our roof terrace boasts spectacular views of the famous Oxford Spires and is the perfect setting for a Champagne and canapé reception for up to 90 guests. There really can be no better place to celebrate your special day with loved ones, sipping a cocktail as the sun goes down.
The Study
Hunting lodge chic with comfy leather beds and a private bar. This intimate and exclusive bar area is a favourite with those who want a private event in cool, quirky surroundings. Holding up to 80 guests The Study is ideal for smaller groups to enjoy canapés and finger buffets.
Finishing Touches
We understand that it is the little extras that make your special day. We are happy to assist you with sourcing and arranging a variety of finishing touches including providing contact details for companies that offer table plans, decorations, wedding cakes and flowers.
