George Washington Golf and Country Club

The George Washington Golf and Country Club Hotel is an independently owned 3-star hotel, golf and leisure complex located on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. Weddings

At the George Washington Golf and Country Club we offer a range of bridal packages for either full day or evening only functions. Our function rooms are fully licenced for civil ceremonies and can cater for up to 150 guests. Whether you are looking for a small, intimate wedding or a large-scale event our experienced team can help make your day perfect.

The Washington and Clinton suites cater for up to 150 guests and offer civil licences, a private bar and spacious rooms with modern decor. The Clinton suite forms part of the brand new £3million clubhouse extension and was recently opened.

Banqueting

At the George Washington Hotel all our food is freshly prepared in-house using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. Our kitchen team take great pride in their work and offer a range of menus to suit most tastes. Please advise on booking if you or any of your fellow guests have any special dietary requirements, our team are always happy to oblige.

In addition, a number of function rooms are available in the hotel offering private dining/functions for up to 150 guests.
