Coombe Bissett Village Hall offers a cheap attractive wedding venue with professional catering facilities and an adjoining room with a bar, with a terrace overlooking a stunning rural view.
Weddings at Coombe Bissett
Coombe Bissett and Homington Village Hall is situated on a hill overlooking the village with stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the terrace, which is ideal for receiving guests at a wedding or party.
Rooms
The main hall has been recently extended with picture windows leading to the terrace. The Homington Room is a smaller room adjacent to the main hall, suitable for small events, has a bar at one end, and can be hired separately.
A large curtained stage has modern lighting and a multi-channel sound system with portable mics and CD/tape player. Simple instructions for use of the equipment are available in the lighting gallery. There is also a large fixed, pull-down screen for audio-visual presentations.
Adjacent to the hall is a recreation ground and children's playground.
Capacity
There is a selection of tables and chairs, enough to seat at least 120 guests for dining. A small committee room is also available. There is ample parking for a large number of cars.
Kitchen Facilities
A modern well-equipped kitchen with commercial gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 hot water urns for drinks, H&C water and electrical heating.
The kitchen is suitable for commercial caterers or DIY and has two serving hatches to the main hall.
