Whatever the occasion The Driftwood Spars can cater for your needs. We offer a wide range of services, wedding breakfasts, buffets, meeting rooms, conferences, birthday parties or just a get together with friends.
The building itself offers a wealth of history having been converted from a tin mining warehouse, chandlery, sail making loft and fish cellar over the years to a hotel with bar in the early 1900s and a public bar in the 1940s. The Driftwoods name is derived from the huge timber beams (spars) that are said to have come from ships wrecked along the coast.
Wedding Venue with Accommodation
With crisp linen sheets and soft eiderdown duvets, the beds are irresistibly comfortable and some rooms with gorgeous sea views the Driftwood really is the place for a relaxed break.
The pub presents 15 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower or bathroom facilities and each room offers a telephone, hostess tray and hair dryer. Should you require a cot/high chair these are available on request.
As a dog friendly pub, we welcome your canine friend to join you for your stay at an small additional cost of £3 per dog per night.
