Truly unique. A tranquil oasis amidst a bustling Cambridgeshire market town on one of the finest Georgian streets in England.

Peckover House dates from 1722 and still retains a homely atmosphere. The venue has a reputation for its hospitality and friendly professional service and is becoming one of the most popular venues for civil marriages in the area.

Our experienced team is ready to work with you on the detailed planning of your wedding so that everything is just as you want it to be. Wedding ceremonies can take place in either the Library or the Reed Barn.

Complimentary joint membership

All couples who book their wedding for 2010 and 2011 will receive a complimentary joint membership for a year!

Whether you’re interested in gardens, castles, wildlife, or just somewhere peaceful to relax, National Trust membership gives you a wide variety of things to do, as often as you like, for free.

The Library

The Victorian Library is the largest room in the house, making it the ideal location for wedding ceremonies. Beautifully decorated with fresh flowers from our garden, and with the optional background music from the piano, we can provide a most pleasant atmosphere for your wedding.

The Reed Barn

Ceremonies can also be held in the magnificent 17th-century threshing barn. In the summer the beautiful walled garden is a sea of colour, a wonderful setting for memorable wedding photos.

When can civil wedding ceremonies be held at Peckover House & Garden?

Ceremonies

Mid-November to Mid-March - available on any day.

Mid-March to Mid-November - available Thursdays and Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays at 11.00am in the Library only, as the property is open to the public from 12 noon.

Wedding Breakfasts

Thursday and Friday all year round, also Saturdays and Sundays from mid-November to mid-December.
