The Pines Calyx is a naturally inspiring green wedding venue. We believe in sustainable celebrations, where care for the environment and the people within it go hand in hand. The building’s stunning design is working directly with patterns and forms from nature providing a perfect backdrop for wedding and civil partnership celebrations.

A Venue for Civil Ceremonies

Our circular Lower Roundel Room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and we can seat up to 100 guests. The room allows for both traditional and more creative seating styles. This room provides a panoramic view of the beautiful garden landscape.

The beautiful gardens surrounding the Pines Calyx include a lake, sweeping lawns and stunning sea views, the perfect setting for your wedding photographs.

There is further scope to personalise your ceremony with a choice of three entrances to the marriage room including double garden doors. After you have said your vows you and your guests can walk up the stairs to the reception room, The Upper Roundel, without having to go outside or you can meet and greet your guests in the garden or on the directly adjoining landscaped terrace. It is exclusive use for you and your guests, with spectacular views across the garden landscape and out to the sea.

A Venue for Reception

The Upper Roundel room is the ideal setting for dining. Directly adjoining this room is the landscaped terrace that is for the exclusive use of you and your guests. The view from the Upper Roundel is spectacular and extends across the garden landscape, whilst the terrace provides the ideal vantage point for views across the English Channel.

The domed roves create superb acoustics for speeches and music, while state of the art lighting allows you to choose lighting intensity and colours to create an atmosphere and ambience unique to your wedding.

With its white walls and wooden edges, the Upper Roundel is a neautral space for your to create the wedding of your dreams.

Seating capacity is 80 people on round tables.
