Wedding Receptions

The marquee is positioned on one side of The Barn with access through French doors (surrounded by large windows) which allows guests to sit and talk in comfort, slightly away from the noise of the music but still very much part of the celebrations. The terrace seats 20 around garden furniture and the French-doors open from The Barn so that it can be easily accessed, perfect for any smokers.

Included in the hire is the use of all our equipment. We have a superb sound system so that you can plug in an ipod for background music and our mood lighting creates the right ambience for the evening. Photographs or videos on to the big screen can be projected onto the large screen.

The layout offers a unique blank canvas allowing you the opportunity to create the look and atmosphere you want for your special day.

Private Dining

Our creative Chef is happy to produce bespoke menus for private functions and parties. We use only the finest, freshest ingredients and we are always happy to suggest wines from our cellar.

The levels of service and attention to detail can only be surpassed by the view, making your special event a memorable occasion.

Family Parties

Overlooking the most stunning views The Barn at Chilton is the perfect setting for Wedding Receptions.

The venue has the adaptability of suiting small to medium sized functions. If guests number 50 to 130 a marquee will be required for the meal. The Barn would then provide the area for the drinks on arrival, dance floor and entertainment (disco or band) and the evening bar.

Meetings & Conferences

Fully equipped with the latest technology and free internet access the venue is purpose built for all types of business meetings, conferences and seminars.

Optional layouts can seat up to 60, from boardroom to theatre style depending on the format required for the day. Comfortable, ergonomically designed leather chairs ensure delegates stay attentive all day!

Competitive all-inclusive day rates with no hidden extras include the use of all facilities - LCD projector and fitted 10ft screen, DVD, CD and VHS players, PA system and radio microphone, OHP and flipcharts.

The mood lighting and remotely operated blackout blinds give clients the control to enhance the setting for the perfect presentation.

Friendly and professional staff are dedicated to each meeting and pay a great deal of attention to the detail to ensure that everything runs smoothly for the client on the day. A full secretarial support service is available if required.

A selection of teas and good coffee are provided throughout the day with freshly baked biscuits and cake provided at breaks. Our chefs prepare your choice of lunch menu from fresh locally sourced produce and are able to cater for special dietary requirements.

When away from the interruptions of the office, noise of the town and the usual distractions of hotels, delegates' creativity is at its best.

The Venue

The Barn at Chilton is an 18th century vaulted barn conversion creating a stunning setting for all types of meetings, conferences, events and private functions. Located on the historic Chilton Estate the stunning views of rural Buckinghamshire and the lake can be enjoyed from the terrace.

The airy atmosphere of the venue is enhanced by the large opening glass doors on both sides which flood the building with plenty of natural light. Under-floor heating provides added warmth when required.

The open plan space is comfortably furnished with ergonomic leather chairs and spacious tables which can be arranged in an option of layouts to suit the format of the day. For smaller events there is space to provide settees and armchairs for relaxation breaks.

Easily accessible from Aylesbury or Oxford The Barn is only a few miles from the M40 and there is ample free car parking.

The Barn is suitable for a variety of events ranging from business meetings, training sessions and seminars, Charity demonstrations and lectures to private parties, wedding receptions and dinners.
