The Coach House is a beautiful old traditional building originally used by horse drawn coaches. It is situated in the heart of the historic country estate of Marks Hall surrounded by parkland, an arboretum, lakes and cascades, with an 18th Century walled garden close by. With access to all areas of the estate and with exquisite backdrops all around it’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting for your wedding day.
Weddings at Marks Hall
The Coach House sits in its own private garden and has its own terrace. The attractive gazebo, situated at the bottom of the garden, is a perfect place to exchange your vows. With seating for up to 80 guests available for the ceremony, family and friends can watch you take the first steps into married life together, in the beautiful garden and amongst nature. The Coach House itself is also licenced for civil ceremonies and with it decorated as you wish, you can add your own personal touch to your ceremony.
Wedding Hire
The Coach House can be hired on a 48 hour hire basis, giving you the opportunity to make all your preparations to the Coach house the day before, ensuring that you achieve the desired effect you have always been dreaming for on your wedding day. This allows you to relax and enjoy your wedding day with your family and friends. The Coach House can accommodate up to 120 seated guests for the meal, with chairs and tables provided, plus up to a total of 200 guests for an evening reception. We can now also offer an all-inclusive package, so that everything is taken care of for you.
Wedding Planner
We can recommend a number of trusted suppliers for planning all aspects of your wedding, but if you wish to source your own, that is fine too. If you would like assistance with planning your wedding, we are now able to offer this service included within the venue fee.
