The Electric Palace is a wonderfully unique building. Built originally as a cinema in 1926 it has been brought up to date whilst retaining many original features such as art deco lights, murals and a sweet little ticket booth.
Weddings at Electric Palace
The beautiful reception bar is a perfect place to greet your guests as they arrive and welcome them into your party at the Palace. A choice of wines, cocktails and canapés can be served if desired.
The front reception bar can comfortably take a party of 100+ and the auditorium with original red velvet seats can seat up to 400 including the balcony.
The auditorium has wonderfully quirky large paintings adorning the walls as well as a deco style glass bar that lights up with coloured lights. There is also a very pretty bar in the front reception.
The toilets have unique hand blocked wall paper as well as large mirrors and lamps.
Wedding Entertainment
There is a professional stage and full lighting rig for either a wedding ceremony or a wedding party. As an entertainment venue, lists of live bands and DJs can be provided. There is also a full sized cinema screen which can be used for family photos, films or lyrics for songs!
Many brides also enjoy the use of the large dressing room behind stage which can be used for changes or checking make up.
