Elegant Event

Elegant Event is a friendly chauffeur-driven wedding car service using a 1930's style vintage (replica) car, serving Peterborough and surrounding areas.

Our transport services also includes transport to special events, for example, to and from a theatre or an exclusive restaurant.

The elegant Beauford tourer (soft top or open top) is ivory cream in colour with a beige interior and is in superb condition inside and out.

We would be pleased to arrange a time to meet you, to discuss your event and show you the vehicle.

Our standard wedding service includes:

• Taking bridesmaids & pageboys to the church or venue (if pick-up location and venue are reasonably near each other)
• Returning for the bride
• Transporting bride and groom from the church (or venue) to the reception, including stops for photo shoots en route if required.

Ribbons and silk floral decorations are all included. The soft hood top can be raised or lowered depending on your preferences and the weather on the wedding day. Floral decorations are arranged around lower edge of the soft hood top (soft top or open top). Bride and groom are welcome to decorate the vehicle with their own ribbons and fresh flowers if preferred.

The vehicle

The Beauford is a replica of a 1929 open-top long-bodied American classic tourer. It is fitted with a modern engine, braking system and tyres for reliability and safety. It is in superb condition.

The vehicle has a heater for the cooler winter weddings/events and is insured for "hire" and wedding use.

The chauffeur

Peter Cracknell, the chauffeur, has been chauffeuring the wedding car for the last 5 years.
