L'Elegance Horsedrawn Carriages

Whilst we offer several other services with our range of carriages, our wedding service is the one we enjoy the most, and who doesn't enjoy a good wedding! We can adapt our service and cost to meet your individual requirements depending on distances of journeys, time etc.

Our usual service consists of taking the bride to the church, participating in all required photographs, taking bride and groom on to the reception and again participating in any further required photographs.

Even if the whole event is taking place at a licensed country hotel, we can still offer a service depending on the location facilities.

Prices

You will find our prices very competitive and are based on your specific requirements. Be assured that there are no hidden extras. We do not add extra for ribbons and bows nor for champagne or any other service agreed at the outset. The price agreed is the price that you pay.

The one exception is that we will need to charge extra for horsebox fuel and additional time if you live beyond 40miles distance from our premises.

Any advance booking taken between now and September 1st 2010 for a wedding in any coming year, so long as the date is confirmed and a deposit paid, will be charged at current prices.

Personalising

We can add ribbons to decorate the carriage and the horses in colours to match your bridal theme if requested but we must be careful not to spook the horses with long flapping streamers etc. We will be happy to advise you on what can be done.

The Toast

Every couple will be presented with a glass of champagne (the real stuff, not cheap sparkling wine like some of our competitors will offer you!) to drink a toast to each other prior to trotting off to the reception, though we do require the glasses back!

Weather

Unfortunately we can't control or anticipate the weather on your big day but we can ensure full protection from whatever the sky decides to throw at you.

The carriage can be fully closed, part closed or fully open. We can also provide you with a couple of warm rugs for that frosty winter wedding.

Booking

We would appreciate however, if you would inform us of any particular obstacles that might require us to make route changes and/or acquire permissions etc, as early as possible in order to ensure such changes can be made.

For example, steep hills, gates, cattle grids or routes through private parks etc. You are also invited to our premises to say hello to the horses and to try the carriage for comfort and size before you make any final decisions.
