There`s Elvis, our 1979 US import cabrio beetle, an absolutely stunning bug which is guaranteed to get you all the attention you deserve on your big day.

Try pairing up Elvis with Cilla, our beautiful new beetle cabrio for an absolutely stunning combination of old and new VW bugs together. Both cars are a matching light cream colour and both have gorgeous cream leather interiors. This combo will turn heads all the way from the pickup to the drop off at your reception ! You want everyone to notice you on your big day, well that’s a certainty with the lovebugs!

Last but not least we have Dilwyn, our latest arrival. He is a fantastic 1967 split screen bus in cream and brown with two rows of seats behind the driver. Plenty of room for up to 7 passengers. What a way to travel on your wedding day!

Here at LoveBug Weddings we know that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and our professional service helps to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

From your initial contact, to getting you to your reception in classic style, we provide a friendly and enthusiastic service. As one happy client said recently “who wants a roller or a limo when a convertible beetle is so cool!”.

Before your wedding day - So how does it work?

Couples are more than welcome to come and see our vehicles before booking, to make sure our cars are as good as they look or in some cases I can bring the vehicle to you. There’s nothing worse than getting a nice glossy brochure of your wedding car and then finding out the vehicle doesn’t match up to your expectations and the pictures are probably years old!

Once you are happy to go ahead, a £50 deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance payable up to one week before your big day.At this point we require further details of your wedding day itinerary and try to accommodate any special requests to make your day even more memorable.You can relax a little now and get on with all the other important arrangements for your day, safe in the knowledge you have booked a professional and unique service for your wedding car hire.

On the wedding day:

When the big day arrives we ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get you to your wedding venue and thus ensure your neighbours have ample time to admire your wedding transport!

The driver will be smartly dressed in either a suit or jacket and trousers and will escort you to the car, with an umbrella if necessary, but here at LoveBug Weddings we try to book sunny warm days for our happy couples to get the most out of the lovebug!

Complimentary photos of your wedding day

From the pickup to your safe delivery at the reception we will also be takin g photos for your complimentary wedding day photo cd.

While not a replacement for your official wedding photographs, your pictures will be of a very high quality and we usually get this out to you within 72 hours of your wedding day. In some cases you will be able to take your cd on your honeymoon and show everyone you meet, how fantastic your wedding day was.
