Jo's Cakes

Here at Jo's Cakes, we know your wedding cake is one of the centrepieces of your day. We can create bespoke wedding cakes and cupcake towers to match your scheme in a variety of styles and flavours. All our cakes are home baked using fresh, quality ingredients and hand decorated to your exact requirements, meaning they taste as good as they look! From a single tier cake to a 5 or 6 tier cake, we can create the cake of your dreams. We also offer grooms cakes and can create cake bespoke cake toppers of the bride and groom.

We know that your wedding cake is the centrepiece of your day and it must be absolutely perfect. Each cake is home baked from scratch (unlike some other local cake companies who use packet mixes) and we only use quality ingredients, including free range eggs and Fairtrade cocoa, and we only use quality brandy in our fruit cake. Cakes are then hand iced and decorated to your specific requirements. Delivery and set up is free within a 10 mile radius of HD4 and we make a small charge to cover fuel costs when delivering to venues outside of this range.

For clients requiring a wedding cake we arrange a free consultation during which you can call round for a cuppa and sample the delicious cake flavours and fillings of your choice. We can discuss your theme, wedding colours and go through various designs.

All our cakes are home baked by us, so we know exactly what goes into them. They are suitable for vegetarians and are all baked from scratch - we don't use packet mixes or pre bought cakes. We only use free range eggs and Stork margerine in our cakes, and our fruit cakes use quality brandy. If you have a flavour you'd like but it's not listed, please let us know. We're very flexible with things like this and have hundreds of different recipes, so we're sure we'll be able to accommodate your requirements.

Jo is happy to decorate your own cake, for example if you have a relative who wants to make your cake but is unsure of the icing, we can decorate the cake for you. Please ask for a quote.
