How do you work? We recommend viewing appointments between 9 and 12 months before your wedding day, with the intention of placing your order 6 to 9 months before. This length of time will comfortably allow for the reservation of your gowns fabrics and the scheduling of the making within the workrooms. We can indeed accommodate shorter timescales but there may be fabric choice implications. Inviting friends or family members along to a an appointment can make your appointment more relaxing and fun, however, do let us know if you would like to bring more than two people so that we can offer the appropriate appointment. Once you have decided upon the style and fabric of your gown, you will be quoted a price that will include all fittings and alterations; sometimes Sassi may feel that a toile - a calico bodice prefit - is necessary and this will be included in the price too. Additional charges will only be incurred should you later wish to make design changes or if your shape or weight alters after being measured. On average there will be two fittings and a final fitting however a bespoke gown may require more.

Operating hours: We are open from 10am until 6pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we are open slightly later from 12pm until 8pm. Please note that, due to their popularity, viewing appointments on Saturdays and on the two evenings will incur a £25 fee (payable in advance of your appointment) that is redeemable on the placing of on order.
