Elsie's Ices

Elsies is my beautiful vintage ice cream van. She is available to attend weddings and serve home made ice cream from SCOOPS of Berkhamsted. She will dress in her best bunting for the day and play a tune to announce her arrival. She is not camera shy so is happy to be in wedding photos too. As she is quite old now, she isn't keen on travelling more than a 30 mile radius of Berkhamsted.

Elsie has a friend Li'l Elsie the bygone ice cream bike who will travel further afield. Li'l Elsie also can be hired as a vintage sweetie stall ... she looks stunning and is a great alternative to wedding favours.

Elsie’s boss, Hilary finishes the full vintage look off by dressing in a stylishly vintage pinafore and gives ‘her all’ to the ice cream lady role! Elsie will attend Weddings, parties, private functions and children’s birthdays. Ice cream inclusive packages can be set up to meet your needs. Elsie also loves to do her bit for charity so will happily attend fete’s and fairs for FREE and will make a donation from her ice cream sales to any charity event.

About the icecream

Elsie will be serving ice cream made by SCOOPS of Berkhamsted. This is the Italian Gelati style of Ice Cream and will be made especially for elsie for each event. No naff mass produced ice cream. Scoops ice cream is the ultimate in fresh and will usually be made the day before Elsie brings it to you. Scoops are also highly adventurous with flavours - so if you have a particular love of a particular food and would like them to make an ice cream of that flavour for your event, they will happily give it a go [within reason!!] SCOOPS will be able to offer a range of flavours for the event organisers to choose their selection for the day from. Just click on SCOOPS to go straight to their list of flavours and more details about their ice cream. A single scoop in a waffle cone will be just £1.90 [extra for sprinkles and flakes].
