Vicki Lord

Vicki Lord is a freelance hairdresser with over 22 years' experience, specialising in wedding, fashion and occasion hair styling. She is based in Kent, but is happy to travel throughout the South East.

She provides a friendly and enjoyable service, and has had the pleasure of styling the hair of many brides throughout the years, so rest assured that her top priority will be in helping the bride to look and feel wonderful on her very special day.

Services

Initial Consultation

During the consultation, Vicki will discuss the wedding and the look that the bride and her bridesmaids would like to achieve. Using sketches and a hair model, she will illustrate possible styles until the bride is fully satisfied with her choices.

Trial

During the trial, Vicki will use the ideas that were discussed in the consultation to create the bride's chosen style, and will make any necessary alterations or restyles until she is completely happy with the finished look.

Wedding Day

On the wedding day, Vicki will recreate the style that was chosen during the trial, making any final changes in accordance with the bride's wishes. She will ensure that the experience is stress free, enabling the bride to relax and enjoy her day.

Training

Vicki Lord completed her City and Guilds training at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon salon in Covent Garden, London. During her time there as assistant to the Art Director, she worked alongside some of the most highly respected stylists within the industry, as well as some superstar clients. She left Sassoon's to establish her own successful freelance wedding hair business in Kent.

In 2005, she became a part-time Educator with leading hair extension company Balmain, and now teaches the application of hair extensions and the dressing of long hair throughout the UK. Her years of experience have enabled her to perfect the hairdressing skills necessary to indulge her true passion; creating beautiful and unique hair for brides and figures within the entertainment and fashion industries.
