Celina's a professional, freelance bridal make-up specialist, using top make-up brands, who can travel to your home or venue for your trial and wedding day. With 11 years experience, I am fully qualified as a make-up artist in film, television, commercial and photographic make-up and keep my skills up-to-date with various master classes. Understanding how your make-up will look in photographs is important as a make-up artist as you'll be facing a few flashing cameras on your special day!

I've had the pleasure of making over countless brides, bridesmaids, mums of the bride/groom. I love bringing out the beauty in each individual and creating a look which best suits them, ensuring all brides look not only beautiful but radiant. I believe that great make-up should make you feel as good as you look. I can show you that when applied with know-how, make-up can be more than just eye shadow and lipstick - it's a total transformation.

With natural creative flair and trained to enhance your best features, using my application techniques and the best professional products (mainly MAC make-up, designed for photographic work), you'll not only look and feel like a princess but your make-up will look flawless and last all day and evening too.

Consultation & Trial

You'll definitely want to know how your make-up is going to look on your special day, so a no-obligation pre-wedding consultation & trial is vital and usually booked in for 6-10 weeks before your wedding day (but I'm happy to do this at a timescale which suits you).

It usually takes one to two hours to make up the bride. I'll come to your home and we'll start by discussing your skin care regime and eyebrow shape, along with any wedding make-up ideas or looks you may already have in mind. If you're not sure what you'd like, no problem - just leave it to me!

We'll also talk about your wedding theme, flowers, colours and dress style to ensure your look compliments everything else you've put so much hard work into. I'll ensure you're 100% happy with your make-up before I leave, take photos and record every product I've used so I can repeat your look on your big day.

It's a good idea for your bridesmaids (and mum, if they're having their make-up done) to join you for a trial so that colours and ideas can be discussed. This makes sure that everyone is comfortable with their wedding day make-up look and can make for a fun girls' day.

Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day, I'll arrive at your home or venue in good time and set up a make-up area. Your bridesmaids and mum/mum-in-law will get their make-up applied first and take up to 45 minutes each. One hour will be allowed for the bride's make-up, making sure we are not pushed for time.

Hair will ideally be styled before make-up is applied and so we'll discuss a schedule for make-up to ensure all runs smoothly, on-time and you are stress-free.
