My name is Aimée Hicks and I have trained in cosmetic makeup at Sutton Coldfield College, West Midlands and received a makeup artist masterclass diploma from the London Academy of media, film and TV, and I am a MAC Pro member. I am a mobile makeup artist who covers the Birmingham and West Midlands area and I specialise in makeup for those special occasions, including makeup and beauty treatments for your big day as a bride. I also organise and run both makeup parties and lessons.

I only use high quality products which include, MAC, YSL, Benefit, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder and Clinique. This will ensure your makeup lasts all day.

I cover a number of beauty treatments that include makeup, eyelash tinting and eyebrow threading and I also provide skin care advice and makeup lessons. All excellent gift ideas for those close to you or a good way to spend a girly night with your friends.

Bridal Package

Your bridal package includes a makeup trial and the wedding day makeup. The makeup trial is usually carried out 4/6 weeks before the wedding day and will take between 1and 2 hours. I carry out the trial at 4/6weeks because by this time you will probably know the colour of your dress, your accessories and how you will have your hair. These are the things that will help us to decide how you will like your makeup and what colours of makeup we will use.

The trial is essential as it will give us a chance to get the makeup exactly how you want it on the day and test your skin for sensitivity. At the makeup trial we will discuss your skin type and your skin care routine leading up to your wedding. If you understand your skin type you are half way to a healthy, glowing complexion. We will also discuss the look you want to ensure that it is perfect for the day and we will make adjustments until you are happy with your look. It is best that your trial is done in daylight hours so we can see how it will look on the day.

On your wedding day I will visit you at your home or wedding venue at the pre-arranged time and I will re-create the look we achieved at the trial. The bridesmaids and mother of the bride’s makeup is normally applied first, and these will take around 40 minutes each.
