3jazz has been co-founded by its members Jon Melville (saxophone), Geoff Chalmers (double bass) and Brian Melville (piano) all of whom are accomplished performers on their chosen instruments.
Jon is a graduate of Nottingham University where he established a highly successful jazz fusion band called “Uberfunk”. He is currently living and working in Leeds where he divides his time between teaching, performing and composing.
Geoff is a graduate of Leeds College of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music.He is well established on the music scene not only in Leeds but in surrounding districts.
Brian graduated in Hull and has a wealth of experience having performed in numerous bands and combos ranging from solo and duo work up to big band. He is currently coordinating the music in a number of schools in Allerdale (Cumbria) where he lives and works.
3 are available for any hotel and restaurant work providing the perfect compliment to any special dinner occasion or background to drinks receptions at weddings. 3 are specialist performers in a variety of genres but specifically Jazz standards in which they have a comprehensive repertoire.

3 are available anywhere in the Lake district, North Lancs, and West Yorks. We will consider any requests to travel.
